I met sex harassment by one staff when I check in, and the manager didn't let the staff leave the hotel until we insist we don't wanna see him even we'd rather skip our breakfast The manager only let the staff leave then when we stay at the hotel, and that is only what the hotel do. Dear Guest, Our deepest apologies for your unsatisfactory experience, immediate action was taken and the staff have been severely reprimanded.
Further inquiry and investigation concerning the situation will be done. Each staff member has been spoken to and given strict instructions regarding interaction with guests. The comfort and safety of our guests in Fort Bliss are a priority, and we will ensure such an occurrence will not take place. Yours sincerely, The Proprietor. Fort Bliss is in a great location, very close to the Fort wall and lighthouse. We had a massive room with a four-poster bed and mosquito net There was also a lovely seat on a small balcony outside our room.
They don't offer a dinner option but there are many restaurants and cafes on the Fort area to choose from. This place was the most expensive we stayed in during our two weeks in Sri Lanka, however, it was good value when compared with other properties in Galle Fort and the standard of the facilities.
From the moment we walked out of the heat into the cool entrance at Fort Bliss we felt at home. We were greeted with a delicious fresh juice and shown to our twin room on the ground floor. While the room was not enormous it was certainly large enough for us and our suitcases.
The bathroom was nicely appointed and there was air conditioning and a ceiling fan as well. The staff, especially Sunil, couldn't have been more attentive and were always offering cool drinks when we returned from our explorations. Our breakfast of an enormous fresh fruit plate as well as eggs, sausage etc was delicious. The location, very close to the ramparts was ideal and only a short walk to restaurants, shopping and an excellent spot to explore the Fort. A boutique hotel, with only four rooms, I would highly recommend it.
