There is 2 discotheque: So much noise , I couldn't sleep even with Air conditionned going. Same thing for the people we talked to. Prostitution, very young girl with big old men most were Italian, about 15 to 20 of them. Same thing at Las Brisas Santa Lucia, right beside. The only place were it can be quiet is in Bungalows. We apologize for the inconviniences Hotel Management. From Winnipeg - arriving at 3: The receptionist was alone to check in about 50 people at 5: We upgraded to junior suite when we booked - good thing as we heard the standard room were not great. We loved the beach, the pool. Our villa was at the extreme right of the property so we didn't here our evening show but did hear Brisas show was over by 11 pm - not too bad.
Beautiful breeze to sleep with the window open - felt very safe. The food was good - especially catering to the Italians - excellent pastas. Returning to Winnipeg, fogged out at Camaguey for one hour - totally understandable. Once arriving in Holguin, the pilot announced that we would have to fly to Toronto for a flight crew change as they over they flight time limit.
Give me a break - can't see why a diversion to Toronto would be necessary We will think twice before booking on Sunwing again. All in all, good family resort, great vacation, Cubans really pleasant.
Sunwing informed us that this was a 4 star resort, but it is not. This is a 3 star at best. Be live resort was next door and we ventured over there for a day.. We had to upgrade after one night of no sleep from the disco.
