Started by pancake , 11 Nov Posted 11 Nov I have been reading through these forums and i cant seem to find this topic anywhere. How does one go about getting a work permit and what kind when doing adult entertainment?
I already have a residence permit. Also, how would one pay taxes doing this types of job? I know some people are not familiar with how employment of this type works so i will give a brief summary. Usually one auditions for an agency or a club. If working at a club, each shift that is worked the entertainer must pay a fee to work there.
I am interested in working legally and getting a visa for work, which will enable me to stay in the county. Adult entertainers have to pay taxes too. If a government found out an entertainer was not paying taxes as the rest of the workers they would get in big trouble. My guess is that it would be a LOT of hassle to get a work permit on the basis of working in this field.
If you were working in this field as self employed, you'd do a tax return and pay social insurance contributions like any other artist. Posted 12 Nov I have been looking for normal work as well as this type. I am a US citizen. I had been here a couple months before i registered, i have a residence permit. Because other types of jobs want me to have a work permit to work, but i need a permit to work it has been very difficult.
I have already found one potential club to work. In the US, working at most club entertainer are independent contractors, so they are not technically employed by the club.
