Summary of Role Working under the overall guidance of the Finance and Administration Officers in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Nigeria, South Sudan, Somalia, Sri Lanka and Yemen country and regional offices, the Finance and Admin Assistant will be responsible for reviewing internal vouchers for payment and ensuring compliance with Help Orphans and Vulnerable Global and organizational policies on finance.
Review of program activities budgets and ensuring adherence. Ensuring updating accurately of program cashbook, completeness, accuracy and timeliness of financial reports and documents. Exercises ethical practices, respectful words and behaviors, and equitable treatment of others in all activities. Understands effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, explain complex technical concepts in simple, clear language appropriate to the audience; and receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving operational or process problems; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
