It was a total disappointed. I came with my boyfriend and there were some prostitutes inside the hotel trying to head on my boyfriend and make some money. The restaurant and the bar tried couple time to charge more that we actually ate and drank. We got an awful view, the menu did not have too many options, besides the ATM always broken.
The area was really ugly and dark, with a lot of mug. I felt everyone was trying to cheat to get more money out of us. The mini bar was full of old food. It was very uncomfortable to go on holidays and and just see old men with prostitutes. I've stayed at this hotel several times over the past few months and each stay is better than the last. Management is outstanding - always "out and about" paying attention to customers.
You won't find the hotel and restaurant decision makers hiding from customers here. All the hotel restaurants have excellent selections of different food types -- there's something for everyone. The grounds are clean, neat and tidy and I've found the swimming pools and surrounding areas to always presentation ready. I highly recommend Wild Orchid in Subic Bay to anyone - whether with family, friends or business, you'll have a great stay. Rooms were clean and nicely presented but for some reason had to keep asking for towels.
Beach rooms had Jacuzzi but our first room had no plug and the hot water didn't work. The staff were attentive however and moved us to another room with everything working again no towels though lol.
Beach is polluted with bits of rope and lots of rubbish floating around there is a shipping port opposite. Hotel had 3 pools however which were great. Jet ski was available for hire next door to the hotel for Pesos for 30 minutes - great fun!
