In the middel og the walking strevet and paryty strevet, but the noise cama from the naboring roms A photogenic and historic street which is on the old town walking map. It's short and sweet with Tha party street but really more like a runned down brothel street. Cheap beer and food.
Muuch better resturants a few block away. Its a great place for the stuff mentoned above Great for pub crawling I was not there to taste their craft beers, or indulge in their exqusite cuisine I just want to have a few beers and enjoy my screaming friends Yes, sometimes the bar level of service etc can get pretty low When I arrived in Aalborg, I had no idea this place existed.
However, after some locals directed us to it as an ideal location for our first night in the city, I was more than impressed. The Danes are very friendly people and drinking with them is an experience unlike most others. So, if you want to have a good time, meet some fun locals and other travelers, then Jomfru Ane Gade is the place for you. One Street with nothing but pubs and night clubs makes it very easy to do a serious Pub crawl. There's even a hotel and a place for your jacket.
Despite bring a magnet to teenagers and other with too many raging hormones, the security is good and seldom any serious problems. But if you want more than loud music and loud people you can do much better elsewhere. Highly recommended to stay away from. Low quality restaurants at high prices. I'm not that much of "night out on the town"-guy, but I've been here a couple of times, and I think it's nice. At least compared to norwegian prices..
