Most of them speak English. So if you're a cool guy it shouldn't be a problem to find some company. But like anywhere else in the world, it's not a big issue if you're not stupid. The old town where it's all at is pretty small and it's all walking distance. There are several music bars and a few clubs I'd recommend. In my experience these are the ones where most of the women go. Bars - no entry fee - Havana bar - a lot of energy, Latino music, dancing on weekends, very crowded.
